What is BookCubicle?

BookCubicle is an online reading platform that connects writers and readers. Writers publish their original works and fan translations; readers discover, subscribe to, and enjoy those stories.

How do I create an account?

Click Sign Up in the top navigation bar. You need a valid email address. After registering, you will receive a verification email — click the link in it to activate your account.

What is the minimum age to use BookCubicle?

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering you confirm that you meet this requirement.

How do subscriptions work?

Some books have locked chapters that require a subscription. To subscribe:

1. Go to the book page and choose a chapter package.
2. Transfer payment directly to the writer using their preferred method (e.g., bank transfer).
3. Upload a photo of your payment proof.
4. Wait for the writer to approve your subscription — you will receive an email notification.
5. Once approved, the locked chapters become available in your library.

BookCubicle does not handle or guarantee payments. All transactions are directly between reader and writer.

How long does subscription approval take?

Approval time depends on the writer. There is no fixed deadline. If you have been waiting an unreasonably long time, you can contact the writer or submit a support ticket.

Can I get a refund?

Subscription payments are non-refundable once approved by the writer, as stated in our Terms of Service. BookCubicle has no authority to issue refunds on behalf of writers. If you believe a writer has acted fraudulently, please contact support.

Where can I find books I am currently reading?

All books you have interacted with appear in your Library. You can also view your reading history to resume where you left off.

How do I become a writer on BookCubicle?

Register a normal account first. Then contact us via a support ticket to request a Writer role upgrade. Once approved, you will have access to the Writer Dashboard where you can publish books and chapters.

Can I publish a translation of another author's work?

Yes, but you must hold or have been granted the rights to create and distribute that translation. BookCubicle does not verify translation rights. You are solely responsible for any copyright obligations. See Section 6 of our Terms of Service for details.

What payment methods can I use for subscriptions?

Each writer sets their own accepted payment methods (for example, bank transfer). The payment details are shown on the subscription page for that book. BookCubicle does not process payments on anyone's behalf.

How do I report a copyright violation?

Send a written notice to [email protected] including: the copyrighted work being infringed, a link to the infringing content on BookCubicle, your contact information, and a statement that you have a good faith belief the use is unauthorised. Full procedure details are in Section 7 of our Terms of Service.

What content is not allowed on BookCubicle?

Hate speech, harassment, doxxing, spam, automated scraping, fake payment proofs, multi-account abuse, and redistribution of platform content without permission are all prohibited. See Section 8 of our Terms of Service for the full list.

I can't sign in. What do I do?

Use the Sign-in Help page to reset your password or resend your verification email. If the problem persists, submit a support ticket.

How do I delete my account?

Account deletion is available through Account Settings. Deletion is permanent and removes your profile and content from the platform.
